   Scheid 2K-HP 5.9L P-pump CUMMINS - Engine Products Scheid Diesel Service Co., Inc. was started on May 1, 1982, with only 5 employees at our Terre Haute, IN location. In 1990, we opened our second location in Effingham, IL and nine years later, our Lafayette location opened its doors. All three locations have a fuel injection shop as well as a dedicated drive-in service area. Since May of 1982, Scheid Diesel has grown from a shop of only five employees to three shops with over fifty employees. Scheid Diesel can service any diesel engine including, but not limited to agricultural, construction, heavy-duty truck, and automotive. Scheid Diesel has also made its mark in the diesel performance market with tractor and pickup truck pulling as well as diesel drag racing.

90's FORD LIGHTNING CUMMINS CONVERSION

Today's pickup manufacturers are catering to buyers who want a truck that can perform as a daily driver, as well as a sizable niche that wants to head off-road and tackle nature head-on. With big tires, lots of suspension travel, and extra ground clearance, these burly off-road trucks are built for harsh conditions. It wasn’t long ago, however, that each of the Big Three Ford, Chevy, and Dodge, offered up a sporty pickup with extra horsepower and a decidedly on-road persona. Dodge had Viper-powered SRT10 Rams, as well as the Shelby Dakota before that. General Motors marketed the Chevrolet Silverado SS in both all- and rear-wheel drive, the short-lived Chevy 454 SS, and, of course, the sports car-beating GMC Syclone.

KEN BLOCK HOONITRUCK FORD F-150

Ken Block Hoonitruck, is based on a 1977 Ford F-150, Block’s Hoonitruck is powered by a custom-tuned Ford Performance V6 EcoBoost engine lifted directly out of the Ford Racing Ford GT Le Mans development program. Making 914hp at 7,400rpm and 702 ft-lbs at 6,450 rpm, the engine is a snarling, billet-aluminum menace, sounding like nothing you’ve ever heard in a Gymkhana video. The power is routed to all four wheels via a Sadev 6-speed all-wheel-drive gearbox (similar to the one used in Block’s Hoonicorn). Chassis, bodywork, and fabrication were all handled by Detroit Speed, in Mooresville, NC, with the overall design and styling of the project dictated by Block and his team at Hoonigan. This F-150 isn't really an F-150. Like Block's crazy 1965 Mustang drift machine, the Hoonicorn, it's a custom tube-frame chassis with some old body panels on top. Weekend On The Edge 2019 Every year Edge Products puts on a fantastic event known as Weekend on the Edge (WOTE) as a part of the Edge Pulling Series and the Northwest Dyno Circuit. This event is also made exciting due to it being a UCC qualifier where contestants have the chance to potentially earn a spot in the biggest competition in 2020 as a UCC Competitor.
