Industrial Injection 5.9L Cummins Race Heads

The Industrial Injection 5.9L Cummins Race Heads are designed for the racer / sled puller in mind. Fully CNC ported heads complete ready to bolt on. Heads are first jet washed in a high pressure spray cabinet to remove oil and dirt, then glass beaded to remove carbon. Next they are checked by magnafluxing, (cast iron only) or pressure testing. They are visually inspected for defects that would make them unusable. Valve guides and seats are removed as needed for porting. Port development is accomplished using a superflow 600 flow bench with a computer recording all flow measurements. Many things are considered when designing a cylinder head Port; air flow is only one of the things to think about. Another major concern is port wall thickness. Anyone can get a head to produce high flow numbers, but if doing so leaves the port wall to thin the casting will crack. High performance Diesel heads are more prone to crack because of the thermal shock experienced by excessive in...

Bad Cummins Connecting Tubes

The Importance of Genuine OEM Injector Connecting Tubes Most people like to save money when and where they can. In this instance, people have been liking the idea of saving money when it comes to buying new injector connecting tubes. Why spend $50 - $75 on genuine OEM connecting tubes when you can spend $10 - $30 on some knock off brands that claim to be genuine? After all, it is just a tube. Right? Unfortunately the dismal truth to that question is; wrong. Cummin's folks in every direction are getting cheating into buying these aftermarket connecting tubes in the name of saving money, but in return, on a rampant level, end up spending thousands more dollars in repairs caused by contamination.  The problem we have found with these aftermarket connecting tubes is metal shavings and/or flakes are being left over from the boring process. The only way to see these tiny flakes is through a bore scope. (See bore scope images below.) These tiny pieces of metal are finding their way t...

ATS Diesel 5.9L Cummins Aurora Turbo Kits

Aurora 3000 Turbo System - 2003 + Dodge Ram 5.9L Cummins  The Aurora 3000 is a quick spooling turbo charger that is great for all around performance on your 03+ Dodge 5.9L Cummins. The 58mm inducer on the turbo is a very nimble and highly responsive unit. Safe for stock engines and stock components, towing and daily driving become much easier due to the turbo doing more work, instead of relying on the engine with a restrictive factory turbo. The increase air volume will utilize all fuel injected into the cylinder creating a more complete and efficient combustion event. This will result in lower EGTs, better throttle response, and a more efficient/useable torque curve. ATS Diesel Dodge Ram 5.9L Cummins  ATS Diesel Performance Toxic Diesel Performance
