Got a 2004 to 2011 Duramax Diesel power GM/Chevy truck and you are in need of a fresh engine? Banks Power has 30 LMM Duramax Long Egnines, built to your specification at the DMAX plant, for  military HMMWV engine upgrade program that is now complete.
The Engines have been thru the assembly line testing used for the production engines at the DMAX. They include the intake, exhaust manifolds, rocker covers, water pump, front vibration damper, cam crank position sensors, flex plate, engine oil cooler, and oil filter. 
These engines have the strongest heads, block and internal components available in a 2004 thru 2011 Duramax factory assembled engine and make a great stating point for a high performance or marine build as well.

Then, after the air has been compressed, a charge of fuel is sprayed into the cylinder and ignition occurs, due to the heat of compression. Eight glow plugs are used as an aid to starting. The glow plug initial ON time will vary based on the system voltage and temperature. Lower temperatures cause longer ON times all the times.
