Strength of Titan Diesel Fuel Tanks
TITAN DIESEL FUEL TANKS are all made of, Cross-linked Polyethylene, by the same folks that make the DIESEL FUEL TANK for the Abram Battle Tank for the USA Department of Defense. The TITAN TANKS are considered to be up to twenty (20) times more durable than the original Factory Tanks. 


The "TITAN PROTECTIVE SHIELD," is made of the same cross-linked Polyethylene, or of XLHDPE material as the TITAN TANKS. The "PROTECTIVE SHIELD," is really designed for the serious off-road folks. Cross-linked Polyethylene is very heat resistant - it is a space age material, so the cross-linked Polyethylene TITAN DIESEL FUEL TANK is not a fire hazard nor does the TITAN TANK react to heat from the tail pipes or other hot equipment in the undercarriage.

ALL TITAN TANKS are designed for ease of installation. TITAN TANKS, are able to use the existing, "Factory Sending Units," and TITAN provides other parts including hoses and straps needed to complete the install. Most shops charge $250-$300 to install a Titan Fuel Tank.


TITAN DIESEL FUEL TANKS all come with the, "BEST WARANTY," in the REPLACEMENT TANK business -the TANKS, are replaceable due to material and workmanship for up to Five (5) years/or 50,000 miles. TITAN replaces the TITAN TANK or any parts, but the client is responsible for shipping and labor costs. TITAN does ask that the, "WARRANTY FORM," with the TANK's Serial number be mailed in so we can keep track of our exposure within 60 days of purchase.

Then, after the air has been compressed, a charge of fuel is sprayed into the cylinder and ignition occurs, due to the heat of compression. Eight glow plugs are used as an aid to starting.
